FAQs

Is this an Indigenous owned company?

Yes! Paulina runs the shop and she is a Mi'kmaw woman from the traditional lands of Unamaki. Her mother is Mi'kmaw and her father was Mi'kmaw and Passamaquaddy. She grew up in Membertou First Nation and now resides in Kjipuktuk and works as a nurse with an interest and passion for Indigenous birth work and pediatrics.

J.R. Isadore is her older brother and works in community supporting education and health centre networks.

Jane is their mother and she is a ceremonial leader, elder, knowledge keeper, and educator who works all across Turtle Island.

Can I pick up my order in HRM?

Unfortunately, no. We do not have the funds, capacity, or space to hold inventory. Some items (enamel pins and flags) will be available soon and will ship from Paulina's home, but the majority of items are made on a print-to-order basis through Shopify partners Printify and Printiful.

This means your items are made to order and shipped by our partner printers. We try to work with mostly Canadian companies, but some items need to be outsourced to the US or Europe.

Why is my order shipping in separate orders?

Since we use print to order suppliers, some items are sourced from different partners and will be shipped by each individual printer.

Where do the tips go?

Tips become donations!

We collect no profit from this business - any revenue (minus production, shipping, and shop maintenance costs) is donated to the First Nations Caring Society. An accountability page is coming soon!

Do you do discounts on bulk orders?

Though this is not something we facilitate through the Shopify store, we may be able to arrange with printers in your area to complete orders using our graphics to lower production costs for your company, business, or group.

Please email paulinameader@gmail.com with your location, budget and/or number and sizes of shirts required.
